Thank you for shopping with TreeMonkeysBentWoods. We aim to make every order a perfect fit for your space. If you need to return an item, please review the policy below.

Overview

  • Free shipping: All items are shipped free of charge.
  • Processing time: Orders are processed and shipped within 7-12 calendar days after purchase.
  • Order changes or cancellations: Once an order is placed, it cannot be changed, modified, or cancelled.
  • Return window: Returns must be initiated within 15 days from the date the goods were signed for.
  • No exchanges: We do not offer product exchanges.
  • Return shipping: Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. 
  • Restocking fee: All approved returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee deducted from the refund.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, furniture items must meet all of the following conditions:

  1. Condition of the item
    • Item is unused and unassembled (if customer assembly is required).
    • Item is undamaged, free of scratches, dents, chips, cracks, stains, odors, pet hair, or any signs of wear.
  2. Packaging requirements
    • Return in the original packaging wherever possible. If unavailable, use equivalent protective packaging that prevents transit damage.
    • Items damaged during return transit due to inadequate packaging will not be eligible for a return.
  3. Proof of purchase
    • A receipt or order confirmation is required for all returns.

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Email us at treemonkeysbentwood@gmail.com with the subject line:
    "Return Request: Order #[your order number]"
  2. Include your order number, item name/SKU, and the reason for return. Photos may be requested to assess eligibility.
  3. After approval, we will provide return instructions and the return address. Items sent back without prior approval will be refused.
  4. By proceeding with a return, you acknowledge and agree that a 30% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund and return shipping costs are your responsibility.

Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at treemonkeysbentwood@gmail.com with photos of:

  • The outer carton (all sides) and shipping label
  • The inner packaging
  • The product and the specific damage/issue

This helps us evaluate the issue and arrange a suitable resolution.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Made-to-order, customized, or personalized items (unless faulty).
  • Items not meeting the Eligibility and Packaging requirements described above.
  • Final sale or discounted items (unless faulty and verified).

Freight & Packaging Notes

  • Please use a trackable, insured carrier for returns. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
  • Freight collect (cash on delivery) returns will be refused.
